and resilience in a supportive and positive environment.
Discover the learning and support you crave.
You have stacks of books on your to-read list – you love to read, learn, go deep.
But, sometimes, it’s tough to connect with like-minded individuals.
Let’s face it – not everyone is down to talk about how they’re healing their inner child.
Help your kid feel more connected and less isolated.
It helps connect with other kids learning how to navigate challenging emotions and develop healthy coping skills.
School is busy – and sports, music, or dance classes do little in the way of teaching emotional intelligence, especially for kids who are a little more tender-hearted than their peers.
Join a book club!
I offer small, eight-week curated book club series for tweens, teens, and women. This is the space where you can connect with other like-minded people.
Over eight weeks, you or your child will learn about compassionate self-acceptance, self-care, stress management, and emotional intelligence through the works of various authors in a supportive and empathic environment.
As we read, we connect once a week on ZOOM and talk about that week’s reading. Group discussions develop organically, based on the dynamics of the participants.
I make our reading selections carefully, choosing them specifically to educate, inspire, and facilitate your growth. And I shape the groups carefully, as well, limiting them to only ten participants to foster intimacy and genuinely deep exploration of our subject.
It’s never been easier!
If you’ve always wanted to join a book club – or desire more support and connection for you or your child, I invite you to join me on a journey of self-exploration.
The group’s cost includes the reading selection, and we conduct all our sessions virtually, so there’s no risk of exposure. It’s never been easier – or more comfortable – to get to a meeting!
Get the extra connection and support you need.
In these isolated times, book clubs are a great tool to practice self-care and nourish the soul, especially when guided by a therapist.
It’s not a therapy group, but it can be a great compliment to therapy – if you’re already in treatment or looking to be part of a community of individuals interested in actively building mental health and wellness self-awareness, coping skills, and knowledge.
And, if you need additional support, I’ll refer you to appropriate resources.
Join a book club – and fortify your journey toward wellness today.
